Our researchers are investigating people’s perception of what looks healthy, based on changes in skin colour. The pigments present in our skin affect its colour.

What is the study trying to learn?
This study will involve participants looking at images of human faces and manipulating the colour of the faces to make them look as healthy as possible to them.

Where do they go, what’s involved?
The assessment takes about 45 minutes and participants receive a voucher for free coffee at one of the university cafes.

Who can volunteer?
Anyone aged 18 and above.
